Thanksgiving is Here

The Christmas tree salesmen
Are back on the street
And “Happy Thanksgiving!”
Shout all that you meet.

TV’s are tuned in
To the Macy’s parade
And tables are set
For the feast that’s been made.

Pies and baked goodies
Are packed in the car
As people prepare
For their trips, near or far.

The sun’s shining brightly,
The wheels are in gear
For both traffic and family –
Thanksgiving is here!

- We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in our homes (maybe the church does... I'm not sure) ... it sounds like a lot of food and a lot of stress ... Happy Thanksgiving, Ilene - Lovely written :) - hugs
