Notes About The Poem

Hope this finds all, who read it, free from Covid

Thanksgiving 2020

Thanksgiving 2020

Thanksgiving 2020
Has finally shown its face
The virus is still with us
And the presidential race

Today we should be careful
With our family and friends
Gathering within our households
Not throwing caution to the winds

We should send our love to others
Through prayers and cyber space
To protect ourselves from Covid
To be smart is no disgrace

Thanksgiving will be better
In the future years to come
It's not unpatriotic
To not be thought as dumb

Hello Franklin Price, you are very wise. My Thanksgiving was last month. We did not have anyone over. Because this was a wise decision. So you know Christmas will be the same. I hoe you do the same. enjoy your Thanksgiving Day.
