Thanks To My Love

Thank you, my love, for being there,
When I’ve got something to share,
When the times have been good to me,
And when life’s become a raging sea,
You take on my gladness and my pain,
And bare them with me just the same,
Thank you, my love, for being there,
When I’ve got something to share.

Thank you, my love, that you forgive,
I know that your love will outlive,
Any hurt that I’ve caused you,
And the pain I put you through,
And, my love, please know that I,
Never mean to make you cry,
Thank you, my love, that you forgive,
I know that your love will outlive.

Thank you, my love, for loving me,
I know that it can’t be easy,
But still you love me, despite my faults,
My dance partner for life’s great waltz,
And you know I love you too,
That’s why I’m going to marry you,
Thank you, my love, for loving me,
I know that it can’t be easy.
