For the many days and nights of pain
For all the tears that fell like rain
For the thought that I'd never love again,
          I Thank You

For the love I gave with all my heart
For the pain you gave like sharpened darts
For the thought that we would never part
         I Thank You

For all the sad and lonely days
For the depression, the hurt and the reckless ways
for the high price of loving you I paid
       I Thank You

For all the days I wanted to die
For the life we had that was a lie
For all the times I wondered why
        I Thank You

For all the reasons I gladly claim
For all the problems, I took the blame
For all the solutions which I took aim
        I Thank You

For every hurt and every pain
For all the pillows and sheets I've stained
For the one I've found and the love I now claim
         I Thank You
