Thankful For

Thankful For
I’m thankful for my parents love
It hits me as hard as a boxers glove
I’m thankful that I now feel okay
It mostly worked because I would pray
I’m thankful for my freedom
Without it id be extremely glum
I’m thankful for my sobriety
It makes me able to fit into society
I’m thankful I’m getting another chance
Hopefully soon I’ll be fit for another romance
I’m thankful I didn’t lose my life
I lost one loved one to a knife
I’m thankful for all I learned
There’s much knowledge I could’ve just burned
I’m thankful for what I got
I think about that quite a lot
I’m thankful for all the little things
It makes me feel like I have wings
I’m thankful for my health
It feels like unlimited wealth
I’m thankful I’m under gods care
He’d even love me if my soul was bare
I’m thankful I’m no longer a jerk
Everything else I can fix with some work
