Thankful

T hank You Lord for a warm bath each day
H eating that is central and warms the hearth
A nother meal that is balanced with what I need
N ew clothes to wear and shoes for my feet
K nowledge of past poverty to help me appreciate
F ull stomach each night and no belly ache
U nderstanding of what I could have become
L ove You gave with no bounds

This is a wonderful prayer of thanksgiving. A great line is "knowledge of past poverty" It is harder to take things for granted when you once did without them.
