Thankful

Thankful blessings. God please bless our families on this special day, Keep them safe and together for this we do pray. Protect our troops from harm, and out of harms way- Please Lord; answer our prayers that to you we do say. The beautiful sound of a child’s laugh, The direction from God to tread our path The food on our tables, and clothes on our back, God supplies, no question that’s a fact. Even the tree’s offer a splendid scene, With all the colors turning away from green. When we pray and ask God for our needs, He supplies, over and beyond –yes indeed. There’s nothing God leaves out of our daily lives, He helps us, gives us joy and comfort as He supplies. Let us pray for those who do without, That God will bless them when in doubt. As we sit and give our thanks on this special day, So many blessings we count, no way could we repay. We could even make a list and count from one to ten, But if God had to, He’d supply it all over again. Thanksgiving. Wendell Mays
