Thank You Very Much
So many take all things for granted
it doesn't take much just to say
with a smile thank you very much
even when feel like blobs of clay
All the basic necessities of life
this we have fully in abundance
so much of the world haven't got
this be seen just take a glance
I am so thankful for all I've got
a loving wife, house to call home
food aplenty, retirement to enjoy
the joy to read and write a poem
Enjoy nature all around in many walks
have ears to listen to music so pure
to believe in God and His salvation
receive His son as saviour to be sure
I can truly smile full and free
tell Jesus thank you very much
for all the blessings I've received
to eternally feel His tender touch
