Thank You Lord For Our Daily Bread

New Mexico, Is a poor state
Has the highest number of low income families
In the good ole USA

Children wonder if there will be
A next meal...
Will mom have the money?
Will the neighbors help?

Little bellies growl
Weakness is a constant
Anemia, infection can over take
The frail small bodies

Will the neighbors help?

A very sad reality, Doris. Do you live there? Or have you ever? I heard a lot of horrible stuff about people being killed all the time by the border. I hope everyone would learn to love each other as his neighor! LUv, Andrea

One more thing on NM..I used to live in El Paso that is right there close..all the Mexican drug smugglers live there..not Mexico..where in the rest of the country they deal in grams and ounces...these guys deal in TONS..they could care less about human life..but you do not hear that on the news???? Here is something else to think about..I was raised on a old ranch 30 miles from the Mexican border in New Mexico...where they bring in millions for $$$$ in drugs...maybe that is one reason it is so poor...???? thanks on Coyotes, glad that you liked it..Danny

This is such a heart wrenching Write Doris, for it is a reality, that should not be allowed to persist in a world as prosperous as ours. Sincerely, love, Moses

I'm sorry to say the old neighborhood is gone. "Will the neighbors help?" Don't count on it. Good food for thought, Doris. Love, daver

It is a sad world with many who are unwilling to help a person in need. I was proud of both my boys when they each sponsored a child through World Vision. In fact the sponsor was my Christmas gift and what a wonderful gift that was. Taking care of the world what a beautiful thought. God Bless Phyl
