Thank you Lord for giving me
The life I live today
I know how much you've helped me
As I've moved along the way

You know I've worked to help you
As you've guided me along
And tapped me on the shoulder
When I've strayed from right to wrong

You've given me a partner
That I really don't deserve
You know I thank you every day
That you really had the nerve

You knew that we we could make it
If we walked the road as one
At every turn you guided us
'Cause you knew that we weren't done

Never let us move too far
From the center of the road
And never let us down at all
Always helped us bear the load

Together we have gotten here
Both know how far it's been
Without you it would be different 
Let me thank you once again

It's not over 'til it's over
Please forgive me when I sin
Guide me on the road that's left for me
I know you will and say Amen
