Today is two weeks and a day since the love of my life was taken to Heaven. I miss her so.

Thank you God, on high above
For watching o'er my life
For bringing me so long ago
My best friend and my wife
For allowing us to share the years
And supplying all our need
For taking her to Heaven
Where her pain in life is freed
Barbara still is with me
As she's looking from above
I know she'll never leave me
And she's sending me her love
Thank you for all my family
For my friends are family too
They give me love and comfort
For all of this, I'm thanking you
With their many words and actions
They have been here by my side
To have them is a blessing
As I continue on the ride
All of this would not have happened
Would it not have been for you.
Help me as I carry on
In everything I say and do
When my life on earth is over
And I leave this madding crowd
Let me join her up in Heaven
I pray to You, that that's allowed
Amen
