Thank You God

Thank You God

Thank you God for guiding me
Each step from day to day
For giving me the parents
That helped me along the way

For the brothers and the sisters
Who took me by the hand
Who preceded me on life's road
To help you help me understand

For the teachers and the preachers
Who were always there for me
So I could learn what's right from wrong
Without them Lord where would I be?

For allowing me to make mistakes
Which many times I do
I'm glad that you are there for me
You know I still believe in you

For the friends that I grew up with
And the ones I have today
And the sadness that I feel inside
For those who have passed away

But most of all dear Jesus
I thank you for my wife
She is my rock for me on earth
She's the best thing in my life

Thank you for sending her my way
I know she feels the same
Everything we have we thank you for
This prayer we're ending in your name

Amen
