Thank you for loving me the way that you do
Words can't explain what you have done
Fought all my battles I couldn't of won
Listened to the madness, witnessed it too
The only person I trust is you
Fighting the battles as they come
All of this would be to much for someone
But you take it in your stride
Make me feel safe when all I wanna do is hide
The stress it is causing I see on your face
But you take it all in your pace
No money or gifts could thank you enough
So hopefully this poem explains it enough
Things will get better, of that I'm sure
And I can be with the one I adore
Until that day I know I'm in safe hands
Your the only one who understands
Saying I love you doesn't seem enough
Seeing you love me, even when it's been rough
No presents or money could ever show
Your the one my heart does owe
So let's fight these battles together as always
And maybe soon we'll be out of all these revolving doorways
Until then please hold close
My love for you only grows
Thank you for loving me the way you do
I only ever want to be with you
Another day, another battle ensues
Me and you will make it through
