Thank You For Hearing the Roosters Today

The soft yellow of the morn's sun
Peaks through Cobalt Blue clouds
A Hummingbird seeks nourishment
His wings hum very loud

An early morning treat he seeks
From flowers 'pon the porch
The white blossoms draw him
At least the sun hasn't torched

A nice cool summer morn 'pon porch
A day lived to enjoy
Thank You for hearing the roosters
And see Swallow's dives employ

Yes, those swallow dive emphatically all the time during the day, over land and ponds (my parents have a small pond)! This is a wonderful write my friend! I really enjoyed reading this stupendous poem this evening! What a delightful piece, Great Work!!
