Thank you for sticking by me
Even when I told you not to.
Thank you for always loving me,
No matter what crazy things I would do.
Thank you for having faith in me,
Even if I didn't deserve it.
Thank you for giving me your time
When sometimes, I know it wasn't worth it.
Thank you for enlightening me with your wisdom,
When at times I didn't want it at all.
Thank you for keeping me up,
Because if you hadn't, I 'd have no choice but to fall.
Thank you for helping me mature,
I am no longer a young girl.
Thank you for being my mother,
You are my life, my light, my world.
