Thank You

Thank you for a good lesson,
For the times when you left me alone,
For all my sleepless nights in your house,
For the love that wasn't true,
For the smiles that never warmed me up,
For the looks that never made me stay,
For the realizing that there was nothing
To fight for.

Thank you for your promises that
You have broken in time,
For the words that were ugly,
For the comments that did hurt,
For your screamings, putting me
To work for never saying me
This simple “Thank you!”
Because I thank you.
