Thank You

Thank you for being such a good friend.
Thanks for letting your love show.
Thank you for giving me hope for the morrow,
And in Christ may our friendship grow.

I appreciate the way your loving arms
Wrap ‘round me to hug me tight.
I love the way that your beautiful smile
Sheds into my soul God’s light.

Sometimes through the week, when I get down
When the darkest night’s about me.
I look forward to Sunday when
My best friend I get to see.

Thanks once again for being my friend,
And I really hope you know.
We’ll stick together until the end
And in Christ, our friendship will grow.
