"thank You"
You were there when it all fell down...
Lifting my spirits when my heart felt bound..
A rain jacket to keep me dry from the storm...
Your warm hands on my face if the tears start to form...
Holding me close so the jitters fly away...
Like birds in my stomach that can't find their way...
But still your love is a road to a better place to be...
Where an eclipse of the sun, and still you help me see...
Picking me up when life takes a punch or two...
But a smile and love is always there from you...
My angel on my arm who heals all my wounds...
She puts me on a shelf safe from all the ruins...
A thank you I can't repay, only to promise to love
and hold you for every day...
