Thank You

You held my body on the day I was born,
You held my hand when first I learned to walk.

You made me smile when I started to cry,
Cleaned my wounds, fed and kept me warm.

Walked me to school and watched me grow,
You were there when others let me down.

For the joys and sorrow I gave to you,
I just want to say thank you for being
My MUM.
