I would like to be able to repay you For everything that you've done. But I doubt that I will live long enough Because that list goes on and on. You have been my angel, My soulmate, and best friend. And when my hearts been broken, It was you who helped it mend. When nobody else was there, you were. To See me laugh, yell, and cry. Everyone else has come and gone While you have stood by my side. And watched every single year slowly pass us by. You have always made me feel special. And no- not like that. I know about your kind! Even when you were difficult- Just because. It wasn't the sun but, you who shinned. When nobody else could make me listen. You were my voice of reason. You reminded me of who I was, You gave me something to believe in. That something special in you. That could melt my fears away. And every time I've gotten myself completely lost. You held out your tender hand and helped me find my way. For always taking my side. Regardless if I was right or wrong. For accepting me, and my faults, just the same. For always letting me belong. For all the laughs and cherished memories. All the moments I'll never forget. For all the nights you held me closely, completing me as I slept. For everything that you've done for me Thank you just doesn't seem to fit. You mean more to me than you'll ever know.
