Thank You

You could say Life is just
 the choices that we made,
     You might cry, laugh,
get mad as the memories fade.

    Sometimes it happens so fast
it is not quick to show,
    Then some little thing happens,
 and you just know.

It felt like it was going to be
 the Death of me,
    But to my surprise
a spiritual awakening to set me free.

    I set some boundaries
 and achieved some healthy goals,
     I'm broken and shattered,
and my heart has a hole.

    An awakening of the spirit,
 mind, soul and heart,
   Together was hard,
 it's better that were apart.

    I have never needed
 a hand to hold,
    Most people are not worth
 their weight in gold.

    A lesson to be learned
 I do declare,
    A warning
 that I might share.

    You humble yourself
 and you muddle thru,
    You did us a favor
 and I thank you.
