Thank You

Came down from his glory
To rewrite the human sinful story
Taking away the creator's fury
That humanity may have a new story
And let go of the old story
Forgetting the sinful history
What more sacrifice can be compared to that in this century?

Tortured that we may not be tortured
Spat upon that we may not be spat upon
Dragged publicly that we may not be dragged shamefully
Died that we may have abundant life
Abundant life without strife
And today we remember this oh lord
Thank you for dying for us.
