Texting Treats

Trying to invent one word poems Called "texting treats." Poems of five words or more? Oh, no ! Are far too hard for us to read! Itt's speed we need. A reflection of this electronic age. Short poems, short replies. From the beauty of the English language..... We, hereby run in retreat. And joyfully disengage our heritage! November 17, 2019

Read Carol's remark above yours! I know a relative with a beautiful name who is a fast Typist, yet only signs her emails with one letter. I have asked her to please stop it. Her name is a proper noun, too. Proper nouns in lower case are Insane! We write cities with capitals. Human beings hopefully will use capital letters one day. We are more important than any city or country. Panagiota

Robert, I actually meant poems are becoming more textual in nature.....I text my daughter at work and do not like it. . Being in a hurry, instant everything~ Poetry of substance is losing its art. Quippy poetry is in. Glad there are many here who do know what they are losing and still write awesome poetry. I wanted to see the responses to this nebbish of a poem. The Thanksgiving one is far better.IMHO Thanks for FAving this. Love to you, Panagiota

Joseph, was thinking why not invent a new language? One with no words at all for poetry. Like hieroglyphics on a keyboard? I AM being facetious,of course. Think if we lost a dear one. Would we prefer a voice consolation or just ((((. I am aware some already gave up on volice communication. And the ((((( wins! Joseph, thanks for the reply.
