Rainbows zooming in her heart
He loves her, and she is going to prove she loves him
He is asking for something others give away daily
Why she always thought it was a big deal, she does not know
He is coming in a few hours; she chooses her clothes carefully.
Not wanting to look too eager, but letting him know she is ready
A text from a friend but she ignores it. Text. Text. Text. Text. Text.
She glances down. It says He was with Terri last night. All night."
She is annoyed but the texts keep coming so she texts "Who?"
Jerry.
She is angry now. He loves her. Why would he be with Terri?
She puts her chastity belt back on and reaches for her sword.
"Psych!" her friend texts. "Just kidding."
End of a not-so-great-friendship.
