Terpsichore Favorite of Zeus
Terpsichore danced herself into people’s lives
She sashayed her truth, acting like one of the guys
The other muses were a bit afraid as she twirled.
She pranced her truth, her ideas unfurled.
Song followed her everywhere she went, she was a player.
Melodies and music born inside her dendrite layer.
The Greeks she inspired could not keep their feet quiet.
They moved to a rhythm, and kept a tiny diet.
Terpsichore was Zeus’s favorite daughter.
A daddy’s girl, she rarely did what she “ought-er”.
She was a free spirit, a gypsy, a dancing queen.
With love, not anything mean.
