Tender Shadow

“Hey the girl burning my heart’s flame
I hope you were a little tender!...”

I saw the girl burning my heart’s flame was singing a song
And turning round and round with other boys in the melody
   Vacant glance
   No see

I saw the girl burning my heart’s flame was spattered with water colours
When she drew a silent picture
   No shape
And stepped on the ground by bare feet

I saw the girl burning my heart’s flame was crying
She bit her mouth till blood was spilt
And tears was the precious giving
   Spakly reddish eyelash

Hey the girl burning my heart’s flame
I hope you were a little tender
   Let my strong arm
   Holded your heart
   Flaming
   Tender
