If I was a tulip in the snow, I would be chilly as my reaction, yup. And yet I suppose I would try to keep blooming with tenacity and conviction, just like your poem says. (I didn't get notified that you replied to my comments, so now I'm checking all of them. And I don't know if you get notified if I reply to my reply, so I'm posting again up here).

I've just been re-replying to myself, which ends up above your latest comments... so that you can find them if you're not notified. Thanks for believing in my bloomy-ness :)

I like how you move from the human characteristics to flowers and suddenly give them the feelings. Great work.

A superb haiku Paul depicting a beautifully bold and colorful resistance in the face of adversity. Your poem illustrates multi-faceted brilliance on many levels. Exquisite and elegantly expressed, and a FAV for this precious gemstone :)) I feel a kinship with this poem in my heart and soul (I think you know who the 'tulips in the snow' would be) :)) Love it! Warmest wishes dear friend.. ~Susan

Hi Paul, another wonderful Haiku comes from your pen. One can feel the power of your words. The picture you have picked to go with this little gem is so beautiful also. Each does compliment the other. This excellent Haiku will be joining the others in my faves. Such wonderful words to encapsulate the thought. May your pen ever run gold. Have a wonderful weekend. Your friend always....Mike. XX

Thank you for your kind comments, George. I laud you for your latest poem, "Entertained to Death - 24 rounds per second". I find its presentation vivid and meaningful...films, propaganda and all sorts of political agendas are used to control our lives. Best regards // paul
