Ten Thousand Miles of Sea

Can a fair wind blow
across ten thousand miles
of beautiful sea?

Can a fair wind blow?
To a maiden
Whose heart I have come to know

A starlit passage
Ever onwards
Through the night
Soft chuckle of sea
The water of love
Taking me

Moons , can rise
Suns too
Days of golden beauty
Across ten thousand miles of sea

Can a fair wind blow
Across ten thousand miles
Of a travelling heart so

I searched for you
In a sky
As limitless
As my love for you

Ten thousand miles of sea
In the blink of an eye
How far have I travelled
Looking for you
You lay in my heart
Always, you see
