Temptation

***Acrostic***


Treacherous, scandalous jezebel trying to cast her spell, an 
Egregious rascal trying to sink her teeth into my skin 
Mischievous, I can smell her fragrance, sweet  
Pheromones, her sexual desires like poetry  
Tempting my 
Animal urges to do something irredeemable, disagreeable. 
Temptress of forbidden temptations, I am already given the
Invitation, testing me, I will dispel this jezebel but I am 
Overcome, intrigued in mysterious rapture, I
Need to recapture my senses.

:) Ow this jezebel..little devil .. is causing you trouble :) Gave me a smile! We all have temptations in life cos we are human,and human attracts human.. but with each temptation won.. the love for those we call our own grows stronger.So lovely to read your poetry again Jared :)

Great acrostic. I think for an acrostic , it's better not to center them. Then we can clearly see the word spelled downward. Keep your poems coming, Jared!!

Greetings to you, Jared. Temptation must be controlled, but it's as inevitable as escaping the voluptuousness of a beautiful woman. Yes, we are tested by these urges that may somehow lead to regret...if not felt for the right one. I have loved reading your poem...full of fear and irrepressible desire for this temptress.
