Temple of Pain
i dwell in an empty temple of pain
All I see through barred windows
Arrid lands
Dark clouds on the horizon making empty promises of rain
Being watched from afar
A hungry lion stalks the plains
Seen then gone
Playing hide and seek games
Beckoning me to escape
Calling me by my name
At night the moon sees it all
It waxes and wanes
There is no hope of being freed
So forever I shall remain
growing weaker each day
heavier grow these chains
Hope drains from my soul
Like the blood from my veins
