Telling Lies

Telling Lies

Make your words worthy of speech
Your knowledge credible to teach
Understanding of what it implies
When you are telling lies

Your dialogue impeccable by design
Augmented by your thoughts divine
Looking deep within someone’s eyes
Sympathetic effect of telling lies

Perceptive to what lies may portray
Evolving to where truth goes astray
The legitimacy you no longer recognize
When you’re deeply entrenched in telling lies

Well said, Charlie. Unfortunately it is something we all do or have done at one time or another. Be honest is one of the first lessons a parent tries to teach their children. Still. we do it anyway.
