Telling Eyes

Are you ever aware that
When you smile at me,
In your eyes there is this
gentle little glimmer I see.

It's acting as a beacon,
Letting me know you're happy,
And I have touched your heart,
Giving you your love for me.

The rare times you grow upset,
I know, without a doubt,
The shining of that glimmer
your feelings of anger put out.

What emotion you hold on to,
To me your eyes will share,
They perform the duties of
a mood ring you don't wear.

That ' little glimmer is a beacon. ' Eyes certainly have a way of doing that. Your thoughts are so dreamy and romantic. This is beautiful in every way, Matthew. :) Brandy
