Tell Me A Story
Tell me a story starting with, “So there I was….”
Something spicy out of thin air just because.
These are the best kind of stories I have heard over the years.
Make it a humorous spiral from belly laughs to tears.
Do not let facts interfere with a delightful story, not tonight.
Put on a smile and tell a tale where imagination takes flight.
Take me on a glorious journey to catch a fleeting dream.
The narrative can be wildly outlandish or extreme.
The plot can be out there, crazy, or even insane.
Tell me a story please, I need a distraction from the pain.
