Tell Me

Tell me everything will be alright,
I get lost can’t tell wrong from right.
Shed the shadows that live in the night.
Tell me everything will be alright.

Tell me things that I need to hear.
Squeeze me tight release my fears.
Hold my hand when I shed tears.
Whisper sweet nothings into my ear.

Tell me everything will be alright,
Chase the demons from the night.
Close my eyes yet you’re in sight,
I fight for love with all my might.

Tell me all the things you hold dear.
Hold me when the end looks near.
Help me see when it’s not clear.
Smile and show me you’re sincere.

Tell me everything will be alright,
Hold me close and squeeze me tight.
The spark will spread and then ignite,
The dawn shall come providing light.
