James Stevenson Poet I do not know?

Tell Me

I looked into the darkness
                                      tell me what I see 
                                          is it the evil one 
                                    or reflections of just me 

                                     can you walk on water
                                        I can touch the sky 
                                      and will you leave your soul
                                       when your body dies

                                       Will a tear be shed for you
                                         was your life invane
                                        or are you just a memory 
                                          that causes only pain
