Tell It Like It Is

I used to be one of those people who agreed to disagree
Letting someone else dictate who I am supposed to be
After the trauma of breast cancer I learned to speak my mind
And rely on God to give me the words when within myself I can't find
For people will test you to see how you will react in situations
To leave you doubting yourself and second guessing your options
So, now if you can't hear me you clearly have tuned me out
Not my fault cause like a thunder cloud the rain must come no doubt
To give way to clear sunny skies and a much better way
Let go, be vocal, express yourself in the middle of strife today
For it's as they say "There's more room on the outside than there is on the "in"
And if you hold onto it it will leave the Devil wiggle room to cause you to sin.
