Tell

Tell Arizona not to be so hot Tell all the dogs not to bark Tell the birds to stop singing But don’t tell me to get you out of my heart. Tell “Friends” not to be funny Tell the ocean not to be so blue Tell the stars not to come out at night But don’t tell me to lose my love for you. Tell country singers to stop singing Tell the rainbows to lose their hue Tell the earth to stop spinning But don’t tell my heart to stop beating for you. Don’t tell me to give up on us Don’t tell me to stop loving you Don’t tell me we have no future This is impossible for me to do.
