Teens Only
The shattering windows of childhood
The torment of being a teen
The lonely neighborhood teens live in
Through the eyes of an adult it's unseen
Boys and girls in love
Some say that it's puppy love,
In our eyes we think it's something big,
We think it's from up above
Going to the movies and being with our dream soul mate
The one that in our eyes would take us to a world of no escape
Through the eyes of a teen,
We think it's the best life to have.
Through the eyes of a teen,
We make our own plans
We put our school work on hold, and expect the people who made us to cover all our
demands
Teens only know just a sample, just a touch of the world to come
We do some things we think are smart when looking at the big picture, it's really dumb
We think our friends are true,
They really don't have a clue
Fighting with each other, go run tell that, he say, she say in a world not politically
correct
In a world of having too many regrets
Not just, going ahead and moving on
Moving on to bigger and better things
If this is the way teens think
Why can't we change our prospective of life?
Eliminate what happens and before thinking first, think twice.
