Teenager

As I watch you grow, I can't help but think,
How these teenage years are realy gonna stink
Where are the times you needed me from morning til night
Now i'm lucky to hear you say GOODNITE
I remeber the days you woke with a huge smile, now you
wake up like life is a puddle of bile
I'm just glad the one thing hasn't changed,
The LOVE in your eyes when glances are exchanged
So even though these years will not be a bundle of fun
years from now we can sit and laugh about what was done
