Teenage Journal

Do you ever feel like burying
your head in the sand? Have
you ever wanted to runaway
just because you can? Have
you done something so
embarrassing that your face
starts to sting? Have you ever
fallen and been laughed at
while your down? When you
need help, have you found out
that the friends you thought
were true, just sat and stared
at you? Have you ever been
lied to? Stabbed in the back?
Taken down the wrong path?
Have you ever heard the voice
that says "have no fear, I will
wipe away your every tear"? Or
have you become deaf by all of
your trust mangled fears?
Please, don't become deaf from
fears and silenced by your
tears, but carry on in my arms
and I will fight with you
through these harsh times until
we can no longer write our
emotions in rhymes.
