Teen Age Love

             Teen Age Love

          When I was only seventeen
           owning heart open and clean
Dear, You were too eager and keen.

I have not glanced, but you approached
                         You yourself promised, I adored
                         You easily left, me ignored.

Pain pricked, pierced ,and hard to bear
But time stood as the best healer.
Grief bade bye and mind became clear.

New love appeared, placed me on top.
                       Disappointments I had to drop.
On dismal I put a full stop.
