Teddy Bear

A true Valentine’s friend
Quiet, still, and the best listener
He doesn’t lie, interrupt or brag
But waits for the end
He comforts me when I’m sad
And dances when I’m happy
With four little hearts for footprints

Big black eyes, little pink nose
Holding a heart with X’s and O’s
Pink curls from nose to toes
He wears on his neck pink hearts on a bow
A big smile that lights up his face
And mine
