Teaser of Thomaletta Gets His

There goes Grandma Cat with the flowered hat, the teaser said.
Thomaletta gave him a look that was supposed to make him dead.
I hate this guy! She said to her owner, a prissy girl named Miss Emit.
I want him to fall off a roof nine times she said, and she meant it.

Miss Emit stopped and really looked at Old Jim.
Thomaletta had a horrible feeling she would try to rescue him.
Old Jim ended up wearing a pink hat with flowers the next day.
What is up with this dame? He asked her, angry in a Tom kind of way.

She puts hats on cats, Thomaletta said with a smile.
Now Old Jim wears hats, which happens quite a while.
He  has stopped teasing her, for she does not look as silly.
Wearing a pink hat with flowers as he does to his cousin Old Willy.

L Milton Hankins March 28, 2022 at 9:08 PM Good. I had enough (vicious) teasing in my childhood to last a lifetime. Teasing makes me very, very uneasy. Caren Krutsinger March 29, 2022 at 8:47 AM It is the sign of a little bully who was bullied by a much bigger and usually meaner bigger bully - daddy, uncle, cousin, a neighbor.
