Tears Will Fall

Silent watching from afar, her tears fall down like rain No one sees her hide her eyes, no one sees her pain She sits and laughs and smiles away, hoping no one knows What dark secrets she hides inside, or how far she will go To see the one that she holds dear, the one who is in her heart She pretends there is nothing there, inside she is torn apart She knows that it may never come to pass, it may never come to be And so she keeps it locked up tight, and hopes for some reprieve He holds her heart, He holds dreams she knows she can’t break free She hopes deep down she never will, one day He will finally see Until then the tears will fall inside her as she plays the part And all the while she stop and smile, and slowly fall apart
