Tears to Smiles

I sank beneath tides I could not fight,
But now I rise, I embrace the light.
Chains of my choices once held me down,
Now I wear courage like a crown.

Through shadows and storms, I found my way,
Each step forward, a brighter day.

The world may judge, but I have grown,
From broken pieces, strength has shown.

Venom in veins no longer controls,
I reclaim the fire that warms my soul.
Every scar, every fall, every fight,
Built a heart that shines in the night.

Momma’s tears now turn to smiles,
I’ve walked through darkness, crossed the miles.
Hounds behind me, shadows still near,
But I’ve learned to stand, despite the fear.

I rise, I soar, I breathe, I live,
The storm has passed, the tide will give.
From pain to power, from loss to gain,
I’ve found my peace beyond the pain
