Tears That Stain

Tears That Stain

A bigger heart could pump the tears
That fall like pouring rain
And wash away the joy inside
That’s drowning in the pain
Once she held him very close
Now he's pushed away
So he falls asleep at night
And dreams of yesterday
Always looking deep inside
Searching through and through
To make her feel the way she did
He does not have a clue
It doesn't make him mad to hurt
To that there is no doubt
He brought it all upon himself
He knows its all his fault
