Tears On Wind a Last Goodbye

Standing alone on the mountain top
The morning mist billows in the skies
I think about the loss of you
As tears form in my eyes
I can feel them welling in my soul
As down my face they streamed
And as they fall from off my cheek
They carry all the hopes with you ive dreamed
The mountain breeze carries them off the precipice
To the rushing river far below
And bends with all the rugged contours
Til they meet the oceans ebb and flow
They carry my cherished memories of you.
To some barren deserted island shore
Where they dance forever among the seashells,
Until im cleansed of what is sore.
The gentle wind has kissed you good bye
My tears have long since dried
I sit and smile over good times we shared
Those tears are precious to my eyes

Wow, once last goodbye, reminds me of a poem, I challenged my sister on long ago. Called Mountain Drop, ... Carl, you expressed yourself, with the one last fine goodbye,.... Enjoying your words, always..Linda
