Tears On My Pillow
Tears on my Pillow
Tears on my pillow when you walked away, I gave you my heart no questions asked.
Walked with love on my arm, shattered torn and left with no thought of the harm you had done.
Gave you flowers and jewellery you took all that I gave, left me broken hearted not one not a solitary glance, did you give as you walked out the door.
Tears on my pillow when I dream out your name, what did I do that caused you to leave me in such unbearable pain?
My mountain and stars, my heaven my life all that I was laid at your feet, secrets kept hidden my soul bared to you ear, my soul like broken glass when you just turned away.
Tears on my pillow now my company held dear, each drop spells a letter a whimper your name.
Solace in the darkness a corner I keep, for love has left me scared too afraid to sleep.
Tears on my pillow, is all love now means to me.
