Tears of Love

This life of joy and sorrow, weighs heavy on a fragile soul. Waiting ever till tomorrow, for broken hearts being made whole. Like autumn leaves of papered gold, promises scattered on the ground. Dreams of childhood are bought and sold, to corporate prisons we are bound. Loving families are torn apart, children reach out for their mother. We're born to worship from the start, the gods of gold and no other. Sometimes at night you can still hear, People say His forbidden name. For death we will no longer fear, and lift the burden of our shame. If we would have just turned our head, and walked that straight and narrow path. Sleeping peacefully in our bed, not evoking the masters wrath. Time will tell if mercy we'll see, like the stars shining from above. A savior that will set us free, and from heaven rain tears of love!
