Tears Like Diamonds

You can’t hide behind this rain, and I see how hard it’s falling. In your eyes I see all the pain; as your tears fall like diamonds. I’ve come back to you and I’m here to stay, As I see you’re searching for your heart. I knew you didn’t know where to begin, It would be like looking for shadows in the dark, I know you have cried but don’t feel shame. He left you with so much hurt your not to blame. I know how he left you alone in bed at night to cry. Right after he was done filling your head with his lies. I heard about how he wanted you to push me away. I gave you your space but seen through it, our bond always had too much strength. Let’s change that still frame you have in your mind, To a better place and time. Release the pain and let your tears hit the floor, The source of it all is gone; there will be no more. There is no need now to decorate your eyes, I see those tears and will be here every night. This is your new beginning not your demise, Forget the shadows I will be your light. The pain you feel will ease in time, My future consists of you for I see you’re in need. I’ll be staying right by your side, I see the way you ache; I know that you feel weak. I’ll give you every ounce; yes I’ll give you all my strength, All that is left in me. I see your heart paid the price which I know isn’t cheap, Your pillow case will no longer be full of tears so lay your head to sleep. You can’t hide them behind this rain, and I see how hard it’s falling. In your eyes I see all the pain; as your tears fall like diamonds.
